PETS! Originally I didn’t include pets among characters, because I didn’t want to worry about technical details like whose taking care of them when the owner is gone. I also at the time wasn’t good at drawing animals, however I’ve gotten better and more comfortable doing so later on.

The true reason that motivated me to include pets was the loss of my dog Rochelle and wanting to immortalize her somehow. I always said to myself I’d put her in Black Sunshine somehow, but wasn’t entirely sure how. She ended up living with Ken, wouldn’t have it any other way.
