The strong and capable Orca barely able to speak up. I’m happy with how his expressions came out, with showing only a single eye and all. For someone who was acting tough in chapter 5, his own high ups seem to bring him down as well. Damn even at the Sanctuary they got issues with the staff…

Gosh this is a moment as a webcomic author you’re like “oh wow I’m finally here”. This woman is one of the big antagonist for the story, while her name will be revealed later I’ll say her name is “Teuthida” a codename in reference to a squid. It’s hard to not say too much cause I want you all to read and learn through there, so for now this will be where I stop speaking of her~

Indimaru can’t help but question the Sanctuary and what their possible motives are. They only have so much to go off of, but it’s good Indimaru is taking his new role seriously and starting to use that investigation intuition.

Not much to go in depth with here, but I do want to make a small nod to the word bubble style here as Indimaru thought about the Sanctuary. It’s deep thinking over the situation that Kevin also had, something to make note of if how the color changes from normal speech bubble white to the character’s signature color. I look at that as a way to portray the character becoming invested emotionally in what they’re thinking about!

Meanwhile, looks like we’ll be meeting back up with some familiar characters soon…

Coloring this pages was fun, I was reminded of the frequent back and forth I need to do too color pick and get matching material from previous pages. Fun Behind the curtain stuff: I started to apply an additional blur shading to this chapter as a test and I ended up loving it! I’ve always struggled on a shading style and this is the first time I felt that this is my style. A great feeling! And I set up an auto action for this, so it’s a button away to apply. Saves a lot of time, work smart with your webcomic folks!

Platinum Plus Auto, as dropped in Chapter 7, is the name of the business the Palette hides behind to the public! Fun Fact, My mom, who works in a warehouse, sassed me when I ran this by her saying they don’t do that. Thankfully this trick is fitting for the one who put on the video…
