We got faces this pages! Also we’re featuring the new Penumbra Alabaster’s uniforms. It was actually in the middle of chapter 6 I made these designs, but couldn’t display them there since their roles for that chapter was drawn and done so there wouldn’t be a point to change it all. That’s webcomics for you, designs and concepts change over time cause it’s taking awhile. And that’s okay!
on the art technical side I used gradient maps through correction layer, which helped a lot for say the building I wasn’t sure how to color initially. Painted it in grayscale and then used gradient map to play around with colors I wanted to use, purple and yellow/gold.

This chapter I’m trying out different approaches for my panel layouts to get out of my comfort zone from before and embrace pulling from my manga loving roots. Cringe is dead, I’m tired, getting old and gonna be in this for the long run likely. Just have fun! 👌🏽
