Ahhhh I have waited years to finally reveal Orca’s face! His face has been designed since around chapter his hair adjusting slightly over time, pages made me make it more cleaned thou. Here are some sketches of Orca! The Left is a design page from Chapter 5 era and the right page is a recent sketch page I made to make any final adjustments! Orca is based off of, well, an Orca/Killer Whale! Based off of the orcas from sea world to be exact, oop!

Ash stepping up already to help out! Good on him, he did get attacked by Nozomi who also attacked Leopard. Meanwhile Orca is making a b-line for Leopard and the others!
It’s also a good moment to address Ash calling Onyx babe and me mentioning boyfriend above. So it was planned for awhile that Ash and Onyx are dating! I would have displayed and been a bit more public about it outside of the comic, but sadly at the time of those chapters I wasn’t exacting in a safe group of friends where I could safely show a m/m couple actively. Now that I’m away from that, I’m more safe and free to display the gay boys!! Huzzah!

ALso I’m booboo the fool and only recently learned how to use layer mask and have been using them a lot for my artwork. I realized I can use it to layer mask the speech bubbles for better layout within the panels. A note to make when making the book finally happens, redoing word bubbles will be a thing among many other things having to be fixed!…-cries-

Ahhh I’ve been looking forward to this location for awhile! I always imagined and drew out this place to have the same vibes as a hospital room of bright florescent lights that just makes you uncomfortable. If you get that feeling in this location, then I did my job right.
