Happy Anniversary! Oh yeah where have we been-
Sorry it’s been a while!
To cut straight to the chase, I’ve been working on remastering all of chapters one through 6 for a relaunch of the comic! Currently I’m working to get pages done by the end of the year and then redo the website after. It has been A LOT of work with how much else I have to do between paid work and personal life, but I’m managing!
Remastering is not only cleaning up the very yellow 2016 pages , but also rewriting parts of the story and including new pages to help the newly realized story flow better. Next year, 2026, will be the 10 year anniversary of starting this comic. That alone made me decide to do this, because I started during a time when I was unsure of the story. I even wrote the first six chapters to be a bit open and flexible on what things meant just in case I changed my mind in future scripts, and boy I most certainly did!
I’ve been working hard on this since roughly the start of this year but more seriously in March. I seriously thought I’d get all my editing done in a single month, you can’t hear it but know I’m laughing very hard as I look at my nearly filled notebook of rewrites/redline notes for chapters 1-6 alone. Chapter 7 through 9 are presented with the current storyline in mind, if anything they need lettering updates as well minor paneling and visual edits to make things a bit tighter, but chapters 1-6 are the biggest part of the work load so those first!
Speaking of, if you’re curious about the behind the scenes I’ve been sharing the progress on my patreon! You can actually read the current remastered chapters now in their redlined stage in PDF forms, the lettering is cleaned up for easy enough reading! On top of that you can see new remastered pages posted once they’re finished! You can see both of these through any of the paid options for the patreon. Mind you patreon bonuses such as the monthly illustrations, request and zip folders, are on hold until this whole relaunch process is finish!
As of right now I still got a large amount of pages to do and my goal is to finish all the pages by the new year, wish me luck! I also want to thank folks for being patient as I take care of this. While the 10th anniversary was a motive other factors played in that’s too much to discuss here, but this had to be done for me!
