Jasmine Simone is a black/italian artist found in the Chicago land, but not in Chicago, it’s just easier to say that. Jasmine loves Summer and Autumn seasons and wearing boots to look cooler and taller. Her favorite music is Rap and House music with 90s Alternative Rock  not far behind. She’s forever sad lyrics copyrights stop her from including them in the comic. A shock to no one, but her hobbies are drawing and any sort of adjacent arts and craft she could learn. She’s trying to find other hobbies, but the call of making small characters calls to her.

Like Indimaru she owns an associates degree, but instead of becoming an agent she became a freelance artist. While always working, she’s always enjoyed having projects after the next coming from a house of workaholic women. Her favorite type of work is commissions, she loves bringing ideas to life for her clients. She may be tired or become overwhelmed, but working in the arts gave Jasmine a purpose and drive she can only hope to continue for a lifetime. Be it for occupation or a glorified hobby, she’ll never stop creating art.

Jasmine had always cycled projects or collections of OCs, but a project always came back: Black Sunshine. A roughly estimated creation date of October 21st 2008, it took her until 2016 for her to finally start the comic. On October 21st, 2026 Black Sunshine was relaunched with remastered pages and a rewrite of the story for the 10th anniversary.
